Time Game
The Goal
Developing a game centered around Time Manipulation, transforming this concept into a puzzle-solving adventure akin to games like Portal. The idea was to manipulate time for specific objects to solve intricate puzzles.
The Process
Inspired by the movie Tenet, the concept revolves around reversing the motion of objects. This involved gathering time data (position, rotation, velocity) for objects and enabling their reversal in time upon user interaction. Check out the initial experiments below:

First experiments with reversing objects in motion
Expanding on this, we applied the mechanic to more physics-based objects, exploring different interactions:

Integrating the mechanic with throwing actions and physics interactions.

Beefing up the throwing action, giving it more punch

Utilizing time reversal to create innovative gameplay elements like lifts:
My Role and Insights
As the lead on the time manipulation mechanic, I focused on integrating this core concept into various gameplay elements, including weaponry and object interactions. This role also involved contributing to game design through brainstorming sessions, discussions, and testing.
